Kids Place of the San Luis Valley
(KPSLV)
Kids Place of the San Luis Valley has a mission to provide at-risk children ages 0-19 and their caregivers with comprehensive therapeutic, educational, and social-emotional supports that promote healing, academic engagement, and family stability.
The overarching goal is to interrupt cycles of trauma and addiction while helping children and families build pathways toward healthy, stable, and fulfilling lives.

Specialized Services
Grandparent and Caregiver Support
Specialized services are offered for grandparents and caregivers raising children affected by drug addiction. These sessions strengthen caregivers' understanding of addiction, enhance parenting skills, and reduce family stress- creating more stable and nurturing home environments.
Across the Years
Voicing Needs
Age-specific groups for early childhood, middle school, and high school students focus on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and social development through therapy, academic support, and enrichment activities.
